This Privacy Policy applies to the Dalcanciaa website (dalcanciaa.com) and all mobile applications developed by Dalcanciaa, including Dalcanciaa 13-Line Quran, Dalcanciaa Habits, and Dalcanciaa Baby Names (collectively referred to as the "Services").

By using our Services, you acknowledge the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We believe in minimal data collection. We collect only what is strictly necessary to provide and improve your experience:

  • Local Device Data: Reading bookmarks, reading statistics, custom audio preferences, and application settings are stored locally on your device.
  • Google Account Data (Optional Cloud Sync / Backup): If you choose to sign in with Google to sync your bookmarks or reading progress via Google Drive or Firebase, we access only the basic profile identifier (email and user ID) required for authentication and authorized cloud storage sync. We do not share this data with third parties.
  • Waitlist & Contact Information: If you voluntarily submit your email address through our newsletter or waitlist forms, we use it solely to send updates about Dalcanciaa releases. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Anonymous Diagnostics: Crash logs or anonymous performance analytics may be collected through standard operating system crash reporting (e.g., Google Play Services) solely to fix bugs and prevent application crashes.

3. How We Use Information

Any information processed by Dalcanciaa is used exclusively to:

  • Provide seamless Quran reading and audio playback offline and online.
  • Allow optional backup and restoration of your bookmarks and reading records.
  • Identify and fix software bugs, performance regressions, and errors.
  • Respond to support inquiries, user feedback, and feature requests.

4. Third-Party Services & Google OAuth

Our applications may interact with select third-party services:

  • Google Identity & Drive Services: Used only when you initiate cloud backup or sign-in. Google's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • GitHub: Our public repositories and open release assets are hosted on GitHub.

We do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs or data brokers into our Quran application.

5. Data Security & Storage

Your local app preferences and reading data remain on your physical device. When cloud features are enabled, standard encrypted HTTPS transport is used. We take reasonable organizational and technical safeguards to protect any information under our control.

6. Children's Privacy

Our applications are designed for general audiences and families. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
